Do you accept insurance?

I do! I am in network with most plans through Blue Cross and Blue Shield North Carolina, Aetna, United, and Quest Behavioral Health. To confirm your specific coverage you can upload your insurance via the link in my profile on Headway (the billing program I use.)

What are the options if my insurance is not in network?

My rate for out of network/private pay is $150 per session. I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance to utilize your out of network benefits should you choose to do so.

How do I know if you’re the right fit for me?

I offer a 15 minute free phone consultation before the first session to give time for you to ask questions and share briefly about your concerns. I will be transparent with you if I feel like I am not well suited to support your specific situation and will send suggestions for other options if that is the case.

What if I miss an appointment?

Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and/or no shows will incur a $75 fee. I know that things can come up unexpectedly. I will waive the late cancellation/no show fee one time over the course of our sessions together.

Do I need childcare to participate in therapy?

Many of my clients are able to participate in therapy while caring for infants without issue. You are welcome to tend to your baby/child as needed during our sessions. I encourage you to be thoughtful about finding an arrangement that works for your family and makes it possible for you to focus on meeting your mental health needs during our session.
